Why I Built This
I Ran a NASA Test Lab, and Still Felt Like a Fraud.
I was the first woman and youngest Facility Manager of NASA’s Propulsion Systems Laboratory. And with every promotion, the same fear crept in: “I don’t belong here.”
It took me years, and a lot of trial and error, to understand what impostor syndrome really is, why smart people get hit hardest, and exactly how to defeat it. I’ve since taught it to thousands from the stage.
